The ASUS A50 is a cheaper counterpart to the smart phones previously released by the brand. It carries the power of an Android Operating System by Google, and combined with Garmin’s famous navigation program, users can now enjoy the GPS feature of a smart phone and navigation in one. The 3.5-inch HVGA touch screen is quite responsive and sensitive, with the display similar to that of the iPhone’s screen. Even the navigation controls of the phone are touch sensitive and easy to use. The phone is equipped with a 3-megapixel camera at the back, with a good and sharp image quality.
As with the speed of the processor, ASUS A50 can handle many applications running at the same time without compromising speed and interface. It also has a 4GB internal memory and an external memory slot for SD memory cards. With the selling point focused on the Garmin-powered GPS, the program is quite easy to use and supports both driving and pedestrian GPS.
