ZTE Merit is a decent looking phone. The body is made of plastic but feels solid and is good to grip. The device is loaded with a massive 1500 mAh battery that goes on for as long as your day lasts and promises a better talk-time even with extensive use. The edges are curved gently.

User Interface and Comfort to use

The smartphone comes with a 3.5 inches QVGA display which provides a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. Powering the ZTE Merit is a 600 MHz Qualcomm processor along with a 512 MB of RAM. The touch signals are well responsive. There is no hard button present on the display- only three soft keys for Back, Options, and Home.

Telephony and Phonebook

ZTE Merit works well with 2G and 3G networks. The device has a capacity to store a unlimited number of contacts. The phonebook is also featured with a call log, voice dialing and SNS integrations.

Camera and Image Quality

ZTE Merit has a 5 MP rear camera which is featured with a digital zoom and provides a photo resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels. There is a VGA front facing camera available for the phone which enables the users for video calling.

The device has a GPS support and nice camera which are on advantage. But on the other hand lack of FM radio, low screen resolution and outdated OS are its limiting factors.
