YxTel G925 is the budget device by YxTel launched in December 2013. It shares its specifications with 'YxTel G007' an another device under G series. The phone features Dual SIM facility with Dual StandBy support. The smartphone has the perfect blend of good looks, fine features and low price value.

Design and Build Quality

YxTel G925 has been designed using a bar format. It has a height of 138.8mm, a width of 72.9mm and a thickness of 11mm as its dimensions. The phone has got a TFT display of 4.5 inches, that provide a resolution of 854x480 pixels. It has been fueled with Li-Ion battery of 1400mAh.

User Interface and Comfort to Use

It has been powered by a 1.2GHz Dual core processor and 4GB of RAM. On the storage part, it has an internal memory of 4GB and a microSD card of up to 32GB. The phone operates on Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System.

Camera and Image Quality

The device has a 2MP of rear camera and a 0.3MP of front camera. Rear camera comes with Zoom facility, and provide a picture resolution of 1600x1200 pixels.

Connectivity Options

On the connectivity front, it supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, EDGE, 2G and GPRS.

Other features

G925 has additional features like video player, music player, games, image viewer, built in online services ( like Facebook, Google Search, You Tube, Google talk ) etc. It also avails an analog TV, which runs DD channels without internet and Google Now app ( which is a Virtual Assistant).

The phone can be bought in White, Black and Pink colors at a price of Rs 4,075 approximately.

Verdict

The device has a premium design and fine features at a decent price, but does not support 3G connectivity so it may not lure internet lovers. Its other competitors in the market are Micromax, Karbonn and Nokia.
