Yota YotaPhone 2 is a KitKat based smartphone announced by the company in February 2014 and released in June, 2014. It is a complete upgrade over its predecessor, with better, bigger display covered in a sleeker package. It has its drawbacks, of course, is very costly, and won't be everyone's cup of tea. It's box contents include battery, handset, charger, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. It's specifications and features are discussed below:
The smartphone has a beautiful design overall from its predecessor. It feels and looks considerably more stylish and elegant. The boxy and square design is gone, replaced with a more eye- catching oval shape. It's back side is gently curved which makes it comfortable to hold and carry. It has got a 5-inch LCD AMOLED HD display which comes packed with a resolution of pixels that offers a pixel density of 442ppi which is sufficient to make the screen extremely crisp. Text and icons are clearly displayed and high definition pictures have outstanding clarity. It also flaunts a 4.7 inch E Ink secondary display that poses a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.Talking about its dimensions, it has got a height of 144mm, a width of 69.5mm and a thickness of 8.9mm and carries a weight of 140 grams.
Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad- core 2.3 GHz processor which we have seen in many flagship smartphones from the famous mobiles manufacturers. It also got 2GB of RAM which you can use for storing videos, songs, images, documents and files. It works on Android v4.4, KitKat operating system which plays a good role in the functioning of the handset.
The multi- touch smartphone comes equipped with outstanding 8MP auto- focus camera in order to click HD pictures. The camera clarity is amazing and you can capture 1080 pixels videos at 30 frames per second. The LED flash helps to take pictures in low light conditions. The 2MP camera is available at the front panel which is capable to take selfies or to make video calls through messengers like Skype and Gtalk. It comes with 32GB of internal memory without any microSD slot.
When you have low battery, you can charge the phone easily because it has wireless charging built-in. Other wireless specifications include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS and support for 4G LTE network. It is backed by Li-Po 2550 mAh battery which offers a decent talktime as well as standby time.
The Yota YotaPhone 2 is available in two shades i.e. Black and White. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 53000.
