XOLO is one of the best example of an Indian company which has brought a great revolution in the sector of mid-range smartphones. But still, the mobile manufacturers will have to do so many efforts in order to prove its efficiency and capability. Among its huge collection, XOLO Q2100 is a nice dual SIM smartphone with good camera and large screen size. The box contents includes a charger, headset, handset, USB cable, battery, user manual and warranty card. Let's take a quick glance at its specifications and features.
As far as looks are concerned, it does not look as appealing in comparison to other handsets released by this manufacturer. It has a two-tone finish with a black front and white rear. Around its edges, the smartphone has two parallel chrome lines. At the right side of the handset, there are 2 buttons including volume rocker and power button. The IR blaster and the 3.5mm audio jack are placed at the top of the smartphone whereas microphone and the Micro-USB port lies at the bottom. Below the display, there are capacitive buttons which can be used for navigation. The major addition in the phone is Fingerprint Scanner which is used for the security purpose.
It carries a 5-inch IPS HD display which is equipped with 1280x720 pixels resolution along with 16 million color support. The pixel density is 267ppi and the screen comes equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection in order to save it from marks and scratches. The dimensions of the phone are measured as 152.4 x 75 x 9.3 mm.
The innards of the smartphone comprises a Mediatek MT6582 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with an Mali-400 MP2 graphic processing unit (GPU). It is mated to 1GB RAM in order to run different applications. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
Coming to the camera, the user can capture videos or take photos with the onboard 8MP camera which comes equipped with LED flash and digital zoom. There is also a 2MP secondary camera to click selfies or self portraits. The smartphone can record videos at 1080p with full HD resolution. The audio is good and the video is sharp since it has a secondary microphone. Internal memory stands at 8GB which can be further expanded upto 32GB by using memory card slot.
Connectivity wise, Q2100 comes loaded with connectivity features like 3G, A-GPS, bluetooth v4.0, microUSB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/ g/ n, GPRS, EDGE and handsfree connectivity. It is fueled by a Li-Pol 2800 mAh battery which is rated to deliver 27 hours talktime on 2G and 22 hours on 3G network. The total stand-by time on 2G is 777 hours and 604 hours on 3G network.
For the purpose of entertainment, it comes packed with various options such as 3.5mm jack/port, radio, image viewer, music player, video player, voice recording, games and video recording. In order to share and receive messages and mails, the user can use messaging options like SMS, MMS and Email. You can use pre-loaded applications i.e. Facebook and Twitterand chat easily with friends around the world.
The multi-touch smartphone is available at Rs. 13,499 which is quite commendable.
