Lollipop Powered Dual SIM Smartphone By XOLO

Domestic mobile manufacturer XOLO announced its another budget friendly smartphone in May, 2015. It is set to compete with Micromax Canvas Spark which is another pocket friendly Lollipop powered smartphone introduced in April, 2015. It is a decent option for first time users shifting from feature phone, who have basic usage requirements. Let's have a discussion on the review of this smartphone.

Display and Dimensions

The screen is 4.5 inches in size and has a glass finish back. It offers a resolution of 480x854 pixels. It has used an 218 ppi IPS LCD panel with 2 point multi touch support. It shows off a color depth of 16 million. It features an ambient light sensor, accelerometer sensor and proximity sensor. It is designed by using a bar format which has got a height of 135 mm, a width of 68 mm and a thickness of 9.50 mm.

Processor and Operating System

It is powered by a 1.3 GHz, quad-core MediaTek MTK6582M processor clubbed with Mali 400 MP GPU and 1 GB RAM. It runs on Android v5.0 lollipop operating system which is latest version of Android.

Camera and Storage

It has a 5 MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash which produces a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. On the front side a basic 0.3 MP camera is available for selfies and video calls. Its rear shooter can record 1080p full HD videos. Internal memory is 8 GB which can be further expanded by another 32 GB using microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

In terms of connectivity, it supports Bluetooth, GPS, USB, EDGE, GPRS and Wi-Fi. It comes with dual SIM card slots with 3G support on both. It is fueled by a 1800mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 20.8 hours of talk time on 2G networks and 10 hours on 3G, apart from up to 500 hours of standby time on 2G and 400 hours on 3G.
