XOLO Play 6X-1000 is a high-end smartphone announced by the company under play series which is specially designed for gaming users. This is a first smartphone by the company which is equipped with MediaTek MT6591 Hexa-core processor.
Display and Design
XOLO Play 6X-1000 is a Dual SIM smartphone featuring a big 5-inch HD IPS display with high screen resolution of 1280x720 pixels. At 294 ppi it supports 16 Million display colors. It also supports multi-touch display technology upto 5 fingers. The smartphone has a dimensions of 139.9x70.2x8.5 mm. It has 2 SIM card slots with dual SIM stand-by option.
Camera
The smartphone is equipped with 8 MP primary camera that is coupled with BSI 2 sensor to increase the amount of light captured and to improve low light performance at 3264x2448 pixels of resolution. A 2 MP of front facing camera is also there in the phone for video calling and selfies. Primary camera is loaded with lots of options like scene detection, HDR, panorama, low light enhancement, face recognition, geo-tagging etc.
Processor and Memory
The chipset used by the device is MediaTek MT6591 1.5 GHz, Hexa-core processor. This chipset employs the powerful Mali 450 GPU clocked at 600 MHz and 2 GB of RAM. It operates on latest Android Operating System that is Android 4.4 KitKat. It has 8 GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32 GB with the help of microSD card.
Battery
The smartphone packs in a Li-Po 2000 mAh battery which is able to deliver up to 581 hrs of standby time on 2G, 532 hrs on 3G, talk time up to 24 hrs on 2G, 14.75 hrs on 3G. Battery is also able to deliver a good Music playback time upto 64.59 hrs using wired headset and Video playback time up to 4.34 hrs using wired headset.
Connectivity
For connectivity, the device comes with 3G, USB v2.0 High Speed, USB On the go (OTG), Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, A-GPS as well as Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. One can download any file, game, music videos etc. at the speed of HSDPA 21 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps.
Shades and Price
No, doubt it is an amazing smartphone in play line-up by the company. It will be available in Black and White color options. It is expected to be priced at Rs. 14,499. The Xolo Play 6x-1000 with Hexa-Core processor will be ready to compete with other established devices such as Karbonn Titanium Hexa, Gionee Elife E6, Micromax Canvas Knight A350 and Panasonic P81.
