The XOLO A1000s is a low cost android smartphone which got announced in August, 2014. It is an elegant dual SIM smartphone which is specially made for those users who don't have deep pockets but want the best. The box contents includes a charger, handset, battery, USB cable, headset, user manual and warranty card. Let's take a quick glance at its specifications and features which are discussed below:

Display and Dimensions

The handset has a 5-inch TFT display which promises a resolution of 854x480 pixels, 196ppi pixel density and 256000 color support. The capacitive touch screen gives standard picture clarity where you can do texts, play games and browse easily and comfortably. The multi-touch smartphone holds the height of 128mm, thickness of 8.98mm and width of 63mm. The power button and the volume rockers are placed at the left side of the handset. The dual speakers are located at the rear side.

Processor and Operating System

The 1 GHz dual-core processor accompanied with MediaTek MTK6572M chipset and Mali 400 MP GPU assists the fast functioning of the device and it is paired with 1GB RAM. The operating system in this handset is Android 4.4.2 KitKat for the smooth and fast functioning of the mobile.

Camera and Storage

The primary camera in the smartphone has got a 5MP sensor. It is a fixed focus snapper and LED flash is also accompanied with it. For video chats and selfies,XOLO has added 0.3MP front shooter. Face detection, Geo tagging, panorama HDR are some other features of the camera. It comes equipped with 4GB internal memory. If you want to expand it more, there is also the availability of microSD card with the help of which you can expand it upto 32GB.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity options in the dual SIM handset includes 3G, A-GPS, bluetooth v3.0, A2DP, GPS, USB, EDGE, GPRS ,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and handsfree connectivity. The Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery offers standby time of upto 590 hours on 2G and upto 650 hours on 3G network. The battery charges fully in 3 hrs and promises upto 13 hours talktime on 3G and 29 hours talktime on 2G network.

Multimedia and Other Features

The Xolo A1000s offers several entertaining options which includes 3.5mm jack/port, FM radio, music player, video player, voice recording, video recording and games. The other common features loaded in the device are alarm clock, calendar, organiser, SNS integration, voice dialing and voice memo.

Shades and Price

The smartphone is being offered in 2 shades i.e. Black and White. It is priced at Rs. 7,799 which is quite affordable for low budget buyers.
