The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is a budget friendly smartphone launched with high-end features and specification. The phone was released in July, 2014. It has a stunning large display backed by Snapdragon processor along with 2GB RAM. It also carries wonderful cameras, a powerful battery and offers outstanding web browsing speed. Display and Dimensions

The Note 4G flaunts a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display that offers a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It's pixel density is 267ppi and comes packed with 16 million color support. The screen size is perfect and you can do texting, browsing easily and can also play games comfortably. The multi-touch phone is designed by having a bar format. This phone is quite heavy as it weighs at 185 grams. The dimensions are measured as 154mmx78.7mmx9.5mm. It comes fixed with sensors like accelerometer sensor, compass sensor, gyro sensor, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.

Processor and Operating System

Moving ahead, it is backed by a Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 chipset with a Quad-core, 1.6 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Adreno 305 GPU. It is coupled with 2GB RAM which is sufficient to handle different tasks. It incorporates Android v4.2, Jelly Bean operating system.

Camera and Storage

On the camera front, it poses a 13MP shooter which carries a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. It also includes digital zoom, auto-focus and LED flash and the camera supports 1080p recording at 30fps (frames per second). For video conferencing and selfies, you get a 5MP front shooter with 2592x1944 pixels resolution. It also has camera features such as face detection, geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR and smile detection. It comes with 8GB onboard storage which is further expandable upto 64GB through memory card slot.

Connectivity and Battery

On the connectivity side, it supports 3G, 4G, GPS, GPRS and Wi-Fi. It is backed by a massive Li-Po 3200 mAh battery which provides 14 hours talktime on 3G and 38 hours on 2G network. The stand-by time offered is 775 hours which is quite commendable.

Multimedia and Other Features

In order to have good time pass, you can use multimedia features including 3.5mm jack/port, radio, music player, video player, video recording, voice recording and games. Other features include active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Java, voice dialing and voice memo.
