Xiaomi has added a new smartphone, 'Mi4' in its high-end smartphones range. It was released in August, 2014. This phone is a successor of Xiaomi Mi3 and it runs on KitKat operating system. In terms of design, it shares its look with Apple iPhone 5 and 5s. Overall its a perfect combination of style and performance which will definitely amaze the users. It comes in a pack with charger, handset, headset, USB cable, battery and user manual.

Display and Design

The front of this phone houses a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It flaunts color depth of 16 Million and pixel density of 441ppi. It provides clear and rich visuals of the contents. Measurement wise, it holds a length of 139.2mm, width of 68.5mm, thickness of 8.9mm and it weighs at 149 grams. It is crafted with metallic body which provides gentle feel while holding in one's hand.

Processor and OS

The operating system version offered in this phone is an Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It provides smooth app performance and unrivalled service to its users with 2.5GHz Quad-Core Krait 400 processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset and Adreno 330 along with 3GB RAM.

Camera and Memory

It brings an auto-focus 13MP camera at the back for the good quality pictures. It is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps and offers 4128x3096 pixels resolution for pictures. Other features included in camera are dual-LED flash, digital zoom and HDR. While for the wonderful selfies, it has 8MP camera at front which allows you to record HD videos. For the storage purpose, it comes in two internal memory options - 16GB and 64GB. But it lacks microSD card provision.

Connectivity and Battery

It offers Wi-Fi, EDGE, GPRS for the user connectivity along with a USB cable and Bluetooth for the data sharing. It also has GPS and A-GPS support to navigate the directions. It operates on 2G, 3G and 4G network frequencies. It packs non-removable Li-Ion 3080 mAh battery under the hood which delivers power to the device to stay alive for long period.

Shades and Price

The Xiaomi Mi-4 comes in two color options like Black and White. It was launched at the price of INR 29,999. But now it is available at the price of INR 17,999 on flipkart.
