By AlkaVodafone is a British telecommunication company located in London founded in 1991 at Newbury, Berkshire, United Kingdom. It is the world's second largest company in terms of subscribers and 2013 revenues. Vodafone is on the warpath to bring cheap 4G devices to the market. Some days before, the company has launched the Smart Prime 6 smartphone and now they have announced the Tab Prime 6. The Tab Prime 6 is a 9.6 inch large IPS HD display. Let's see what Vodafone has going to offer its customers:-
Design and Display
The Vodafone Tab Prime 6 is a calling tablet featuring a big screen 9.6-inch IPS HD capacitive touchscreen display which gives screen resolution of 1280x800 pixels. At 157pixel per density it supports 16 millions of color for better screen quality. But, pixel density of this tablet is bit low making it dull for tablet display. It also supports multi-touch display technology up to 10-fingers. The tablet has dimensions of 244 x 146 x 8 mm respectively and 406 gm in weight.
Processor and Memory
The tablet contained a quad core Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 as a chipset. Its clock speed is 1.3GHz, which is about average for a tablet processor. With a quad core processor, the tablet works more effectively at multitasking compared to tablets with single core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM which is bit less and performs slower than other tablets which have more RAM. It runs on Android v5.0, Lollipop.
Camera
The smart tablet is equipped wit 5 MP primary camera with image resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. But, it does not have auto-focus feature which is a negative point of this tablet. It has 2 MP front camera also on its front panel which is elegant choice for video calling. One can record HD videos at 1080p, the highest quality.
Connectivity and Battery
It supports 4G (150Mbit) connectivity with regional wireless carriers, meaning it can access the internet from virtually anywhere. Other connectivity options are: Wi-Fi 802.11 dual band a/b/g/n, bluetooth 4.1, micro USB 2.0, 2G, 3G, GPRS, EDGE etc. It packs in a non-removable 4600 mAh battery which offers you good talk-time as well as good stand-by time.
Shades and Price
This tablet will be available in Black color only. It is not launched in India yet. So, there is no any information available about the price.
