Overview
ViewPhone 3: A cost efficient dual SIM phone
The latest addition to ViewSonic’s dual SIM smartphones is the ViewPhone 3. This phone is placed in the lower tier of smartphones and is based on the Android operating system, v 2.3. The display screen is 3.5 inch with a 480 x 800 resolution and a custom user interface, something that you would also find in other smartphones. The screen resolution does not make the colors look very vibrant. The ViewPhone 3 has a 5 MP auto focus camera without an LED flash. One feature that is present in many top gear smartphones is noticeably missing here i.e. a second camera at the front (for video calling).
The power behind this phone is provided by an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor with a 512 MB RAM and HVGA internal memory. Among the other features are Wifi, FM radio, GPS, GMS compliance, Audio 3.5 jack etc. from the outside the phone has a simple design with curved edges to make it look stylish and fit comfortably in the hand. The price tag is not too much placing it in the category of low end smartphones. The ViewPhone 3 is a budget friendly phone with a slot for 2 SIMS, providing true Android functionality.
