The Vertu Signature has a very modern space-age look to it. Vertu is the company that follows its own way of manufacturing as expensive cell phones as possible. Even the cheapest phone of Vertu costs Rs 3,06,867. Thus the Vertu handsets in one's hand, mark the sign of aristocracy. The company claims it as a technically advanced phone, but fails to prove that.

Design and Build Quality

Vertu Signature has a combination of glossy Black color and chrome finished side panels. The keymat has been made in a zigzag manner. Signature has a height of 130mm, width of 42mm and a thickness of 13mm as its dimensions and a weight of 166-238grams. The front has a 2-inch scratch resistant display. So what makes the phone special is the costly Platinum body with Solitaire affixed on it. The device has been fueled with 950 mAh battery.

Features

Some features supported by Vertu Signature are high performing loudspeakers, advanced Yamaha Polyphonic hardware, modem support, PC synchronization, multi language predictive text input, a large user memory with up to 1000 records in phone-book, 220 calender notes, 100 SMS messages, alarm clock, world clock, calculator and voice recorder.

Verdict

Company is not making any effort in advertising as it is a well known brand in foreign countries and to rich people. Besides the luxurious looks, the phone does not have much to offer to Indians, not even a camera.
