An Affordable 7-inch Windows Tablet
By NatashaToshiba is a Japanese company that manufactures mobiles, tablets and laptops. The Encore 7 is another tablet from the company, announced in June, 2014. The Encore 7 was unveiled by the Nick Parker, Vice President of Microsoft's Corporate, at the sidelines of Computex 2014 in Taiwan. Toshiba in a collaboration with Intel and Microsoft has developed this tablet.
Toshiba Encore 7 flaunts a touchscreen of 7-inches which provides a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. It operates on the Windows 8.1 operating system. Powering the device is a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor with Intel Atom Z3735 chip-set and a massive RAM of 1 GB. The tablet has an internal storage of 16 GB which can be expanded further with the help of a micro SD card. The tablet has a music and video player for the entertainment of users.
The connectivity options available for Encore 7 are the USB, HDMI port, GPRS, hands-free, Wi-Fi and USB connectivity. It comes pre-loaded with apps like Facebook and Gmail. Other features include calender, clock, alarm clock, games, organizer, 3.5 mm audio jack and MP3 ring-tones. Toshiba Encore 7 also comes equipped with a front facing camera. It is dipped in Silver color that enhances its looks. Overall, the concept of Encore 7 sounds cool.
