A Basic Feature Dual SIM Phone

Tecno has announced the T630, a dual SIM device in May, 2014. Tecno T630 is a basic feature phone which fulfills the needs of a common man. The box packs a handset, charger, battery, earphone and user manual. The details of T630 are given below.

Design and Display

Tecno T630 is designed by using a bar format and edges are curved gently which makes it easy to hold and use. It comes with a height of 118mm, width of 51mm and a thickness of 11.55mm as its dimensions. The phone has a QVGA display of 2.4-inches with a resolution of 240x320 pixels. It also features an alphanumeric keypad below the display on which keys are rightly placed and are well responsive.

Hardware and Software

The T630 is powered by the 611 MHz processor with MT6276 chip-set. It has an internal memory of 128 MB+64MB which can be expanded to another 32 GB with the help of a micro-SD card. It runs on the Proprietary operating system.

Telephony and Messaging

Tecno T630 is a dual SIM device that operates on GSM 900/1800 MHz and WCDMA 2100 MHz frequencies. The device has the capacity to store a limited number of contacts. There is a SMS, MMS, Email like messaging facilities available for this phone. It is also featured with T9 dictionary in order to facilitate typing.

Camera

The T630 has a primary camera of 2 MP which is featured with a flash, digital zoom and provides a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. There is a VGA front-facing camera available for the T630.

Multimedia

The phone features a music player, FM radio, video player and recorder for the entertainment of the users. The 3.5mm audio jack is also available for the T630. The device supports the popular audio formats like MP3, MIDI, WAV, M4A, AWB and AMR while the 3GP, 3G2, AVI, MP4 and FLV video formats.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the device includes GPRS, Bluetooth, USB and hands-free connectivity. The T630 is fueled by a 1150 mAh battery which offers a talk-time up to 6.3 hours and a stand-by time up to 184 hours.
