Tecno T551 is a low range handset meant to satisfy the very basic needs of a customer. It comes with Dual SIM ( GSM + GSM ) facility.
Design and Build Quality
It has been designed, using a bar format. It has dimensions 118.3mm of height, 51mm of width and 14.5mm of thickness. The phone can easily fit in one's hand. Tecno T551 has got a basic TFT display of 2.4 inches, that provide a resolution of 240x320 pixels. The device is equipped with a Li-Ion battery of 1,000mAh that gives uninterrupted Standby time of up to 160 hours and talktime of up to 5 hours.
User Interface and Comfort to Use
It has a proprietary Operating System. The handset has RAM of 256 MB. It comes with the internal memory of 1GB, and supports a microSD slot up to 16GB.
Camera and Image Quality
Tecno T551 has a primary camera of 1.3MP with Zoom facility. The primary camera provides a photo resolution of 1280x1024 pixels.
Connectivity Options
On the connectivity front, it supports 2G, EDGE, USB, GPRS and Bluetooth.

It is a handy cell phone, suitable for basic purposes. It has Dual SIM feature, basic internet options, camera and music player, thus can be useful while traveling. Its rivals in the market are Micromax Bolt X3551 and Karbonn K451.
