Spice QT 61 is a mobile phone manufactured by India’s Spice Telecom. This QWERTY dual-SIM phone looks quite similar to other QWERTY phones from Spice Telecoms but bears some additional features compared to older models.
Spice QT 61 has a stylish design with a changeable front as well as a back panel of bright and vivid colors. It is available in black, red, and turquoise colors. The phone weighs 95g and measures 108.5 x 57 x 12.8 mm. It has a candy bar design and a QWERTY keypad. It has a high-resolution 2.4-inch TFT display screen that displays 240 x 320 pixels with a pixel density of 167 pixels per square inch. The phone has a vibrator feature. Spice QT 61 comes with a Li-ion battery that is rated at 1150mAh when fully charged and can support 3.5 hours of talk-time and remain charged for up to 300 hours when in standby mode. The phone supports a dual GSM network for 900 MHz and 1800 MHz frequencies and carries an internal antenna.
Spice QT 61 uses a Java OS. There is a Menu button located at the right side of the phone just above the End-Call button. A user can use this button to access the various items on the phone’s Menu.
Spice QT 61 can accommodate up to 1000 contacts and stores 20 entries of call records for dialled, received, and missed calls. It has a good-quality speakerphone.
Spice QT 61 supports both SMS and MMS (multimedia messaging) platforms. It, however, does not support EMS. The phone can store 1000 SMSs and comes with the T9 predictive texting feature.
Spice QT 61 has a 2.0 Megapixels camera with a digital zoom, a video recorder and video player. The user can extend the phone’s T-flash memory to allow the storage of extra images by using an 8GB memory card.
Spice QT 61has an in-built FM radio and Music Player. The phone’s speakers give good quality sound that one can further enhance using higher quality headphones.
Spice QT 61 has a 2.0 megapixel camera. Its image quality is average.
