Spice has announced a new basic feature phone called the 'Boss M-5377' in July, 2014. The handset comes packed in a box with a charger, battery, earphone, user manual and warranty card. Let's check out the phone in detail.

Design and Display

The Spice Boss M-5377 is a bar shaped device which offers good looks. It has a height of 120.7mm, width of 53.5mm and thickness of 10.0mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 75grams. The front of phone bears a 2.4-inches QVGA display with a 320x240 pixels resolution and a 167 ppi pixel density.

Memory

The Spice Boss M-5377 has the capability to store a list of 500 contacts to its phonebook memory. The external memory of phone can be expanded up to 16 GB with the use of a micro SD card.

Telephony and Messaging

This dual SIM device operates on 2G (GSM 900/1800 MHz) network frequencies. The call quality offered is good at all the times irrespective of the weather conditions. The Boss M-5377 is featured with SMS for messaging.

Camera

The phone has a primary camera of 1.3 MP which is featured with a digital zoom and takes 1280x1024 resolution pictures. Unfortunately, it does not has a secondary camera for video calling purposes.

Multimedia

The Spice Boss M-5377 is featured with a FM radio, music and video player for the entertainment of users. There is a 3.5mm audio jack available for the device. It comes loaded with some of the games to play with.

The connectivity attributes of the device include GPRS, Bluetooth and hands-free. The Spice Boss M-5377 comes equipped with a WAP browser to perform searches. It is fueled by a 1000 mAh battery for long talks.
