Sony Xperia Z1S is latest micro SIM smartphone by Sony which was announced in January, 2014 in CES 2014 and released on January 22, 2014 in US through T-Mobile. It is a special variant of earlier appeared Xperia Z1 and is made exclusively for T-Mobile of US. It also has some remarkable features which are new and were not present in Xperia Z1. It comes in a pack with a charger, a data cable, a headset, an user guide and a non-removable Li-ion 3000mAh battery with a 2G and 3G standby time of up to 600 hours and up to 620 hours respectively, a talk time of up to 15 hours, a music playback time of up to 40 hours and a video playback time of up to 6.75 hours. It has a height of 145.7mm, a width of 73.9mm and a thickness of 8.6mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 162gms and runs on 2G(GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz), 3G(HSDPA 850/900/1700/1900/2100MHz) and 4G(LTE Bands 4/17) network frequencies. Due to its OmniBalance design, it has a both beautiful and comfortable symmetry, while durable tempered glass is used to made its front and back panels. In compliance with IP55 and IP58 ratings, the stylish smartphone is also dust resistant and water-proof, according to which it can be kept under 1.50m of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. Also, you can shoot photos underwater with the help of a physical camera shutter key. It comes in Black shade and is priced at US$ 22 per month for two years or at US$ 603 without contract which roughly translates to INR 37500.

It has a RAM of 2GB along with a flash memory of up to 32GB which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD or microSDXC memory card. It also comes with a 2.0MP front facing camera with a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels and digital zoom which can also record videos of 1080p@30fps and can be used for selfie and video calling.
