Sony Xperia TL is a Micro-SIM smartphone released by Sony in USA last year on November 2, 2012. It works on the frequencies of 2G(GSM), 3G(UMTS) and 4G(LTE) and has a Li-Ion 1850mAh battery with a stand-by time of up to 450 hours, a talk time of up to 7 hours, a music playback time of up to 16 hours and a video playback time of up to 5 hours. Its dimensions includes a height of 129.4mm, a width of 67.3mm and a thickness of 9.35mm and its weight is 139gms along with a microSD memory card slot of up to 32GB. It also has an internal memory of 16GB and a RAM of 1GB. It has an audio player, a video player, a FM Radio with RDS, a loudspeaker and a 3.5mm jack and is available in Black, White and Grey shades.

Sony Xperia TL has a 4.5-inch, capacitive and multitouch, TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels, 16 Million colors display, 323ppi pixel density, Sony Mobile BRAVIA engine, screenshot capturing and Shatter-proof and Scratch-resistant glass. It also has a v4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS with a Dual-core 1.5GHz Krait processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chipset and Adreno 225 GPU along with some sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, compass, proximity and light. It can make voice calls, send SMS, MMS, E-Mail and Push E-Mail and has features such as IM and SNS Integration. The additional features includes voice memo/dials/commands, tethering, computer sync, OTA sync, Gtalk, Microsoft exchange, Turn-by-Turn and voice navigation, image and document viewer and editor and many more.

Sony Xperia TL has a 13.0MP primary camera with a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels, 16x digital zoom, auto-focus, LED flash, F2.4 Aperture, BSI, touch focus, image stabilization, face detection, geo-tagging, sweep Panorama mode and can play as well record videos of 1080p@30fps with video stabilization. It also has a 1.3MP front camera with a resolution of 1280x960 pixels and digital zoom which can also play as well as record videos of 720p@30fps. For data connectivity, it has GPRS, EDGE, WLAN feature which includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Dual-band, DLNA, Wi-Fi direct and Wi-Fi hotspot, WebKit browser with Pan and Zoom, HTML5 browser, GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS, a v3.1 Bluetooth with A2DP, v2.0 microUSB, NFC and Java via MIDP emulator.
