Sony Xperia C3 is a dual SIM smartphone slated to release in August 2014 by Sony. The company has announced this phone in July, 2014. It packs a big screen and 8MP rear camera along with number of impressing features.

Display and Dimensions

It features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen along with a 720x1280 pixels resolution and Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. It beautifully responds to multitouch gestures for gaming as well as for camera functions. The screen flaunts 16 million colors depth and 267ppi pixel density for the sharp display. It has a length of 156.7mm, width of 78.7mm, thickness of 7.6mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 149.7 grams. For the comfort of users, it also come equipped with some sensors like proximity, accelerometer and compass.

OS and Processor

Inside the phone, is residing a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor along with a Qualcomm MSM8926 Snapdragon 400 chipset, Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB RAM. Running the device is a latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system which let you experience efficient performance and provides more polished design.

Camera and Memory

To let the users click and share pictures, it comes loaded with a good 8MP camera at the back coupled with a features like LED flash, auto-focus, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, panorama mode and HDR. The highest resolution you can set for the pictures is 3264x2448 pixels and you can also capture videos of 1080 pixels. At the front, it also brings 5MP camera with LED flash which let you click selfies even in a dim light. With front camera you can record videos of 720 pixels. To store the essential data, it supports 8GB of internal memory which you can further expand in need with the help of microSD card supporting up to 32GB of memory.

Connectivity and Battery

The phone offers GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USb and NFC as its connectivity features. So you can surf, download and share data through this phone. To navigate the directions, it also packs GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. Messaging features of the phone includes SMS, MMS, IM, Push Email and Email along with a predictive text input. To draw a back-up, it depends upon a 2500mAh battery which promises up to 30 hours talktime as well as up to 1093 hours of stand-by time on 2G network.

Entertainment

The phone comes loaded with a FM Radio and music system supporting formats like Xvid, MP4 player, FLAC player, MP3, WAV and WMA player. It supports loudspeaker and MP3 ringtones. It has 3.5mm audio jack which let you connect your phone with any system. Other features of the phone includes ANT+ support, SNS integration, document viewer, voice memo/dial and photo viewer.

Shades and Price

Sony Xperia C3 comes in three beautiful shades including White, Black and Mint. The price of the phone is not revealed by the company yet.
