Sony is one of the leading Japanese multinational corporation. Its headquarters are located in Tokyo, Japan. Sony has entered into the new concept of smartwatches and has introduced the Sony smartwatch to the market. This smartwatch is crafted from silicon (dial) and metal (wristband). The square shaped dial measures 36 mm in height, 36 mm in width and 8 mm in thickness. The main unit weighs around 15.5 grams and watchband weighs around 26 grams. It features a multi touch OLED colored display of 1.3-inches which provides a resolution of 128x128 pixels and is splash and scratch proof.

This smartwatch can be customized with any of the 20 mm wristband. It comes pre-loaded with Live-wire manager that helps in searching apps. One can connect this smartwatch with the phone and can check the text messages and mails. The Sony smartwatch is bluetooth enabled that handles the calls, music and many more functions. Other features includes music player control, reject and mute calls, track information on display, pre-defined SMS, take call and use headset.

The connectivity options includes Bluetooth core version 3.0 and NFC. It also comes pre-loaded with apps like facebook and twitter. The battery offers a typical usage time up to 3-4 days, heavy usage time up to 1 day and low usage time up to 1 week. The smartwatch is compatible with all the smartphones that uses Android 4.0 (ice cream sandwich) or later. Sony smartwatch comes in a evergreen color option of Black with Silver detailing. The smartwatch is available at a price tag of Rs.7,990 approx.
