Sony Ericsson G900 was a Mini-SIM smartphone which was first announced at 2008 Mobile World Congress on February, 2008 and was released later in that year. It had a Li-Po 950mAh battery with a stand-by time of up to 380 hours, a 2G and 3G talk time of up to 12 hours and up to 4 hours respectively and a video call time of up to 2.50 hours. It had a height of 106mm, a width of 49mm and a thickness of 13mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 99gms and runs on 2G(GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz) and 3G(UMTS 2100 MHz) networks. It was available in two shades which includes Dark Red and Dark Brown and is now discontinued.
Sony Ericsson G900 had a 2.4-inch, resistive TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 240x320 pixels, 167ppi pixel density and 262k colors display. It had also got a 128MB RAM along with an internal memory of 160MB which can be expanded up to 8GB via Memory Stick Micro (M2). It was a Symbian 9.1 UIQ 3.0 platform based smartphone with a single-core 208 MHz ARM9 processor and a 3D Graphics HW accelerator with Open GL ES support. It had also got a FM Radio with RDS, an Opera 8 and a RSS reader as a browser, Java via MIDP 2.0 or CLDC 1.1, a lots of games, computer sync, an organizer, voice recording, a loudspeaker and many more.
Sony Ericsson G900 had a 5.0MP rear camera with a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels, digital zoom, flash, auto-focus, touch focus, image stabilization and video playing as well as recording. It also had a front camera for video calling. For messaging, it includes SMS, MMS, E-mail, Push E-mail and IM. For connectivity, it had got a Class 10 GPRS, WLAN feature with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, a v2.0 USB port and a v2.0 Bluetooth with A2DP.
