Samsung S5230: Affordable Handset for Everyone
The Samsung S5230, also known as Samsung Star, is a touch screen mobile phone that is made affordable to almost everyone, and yet it still retains an air of elegance with its look. It has a 3-inch TFT resistive screen of 240 x 400 pixels resolution that requires a little bit more pressure to be able to make an action. The screen has an Accelerometer sensor, Handwriting recognition, and smart unlock features.
The Samsung Star S5230 has an on-screen qwerty keyboard that makes typing and browsing even faster. Users can connect through Bluetooth, WAP 2.0, GPRS, EDGE, and a pre-loaded web browser. Despite having no Wi-Fi connectivity, users can still connect online through GPRS. It is built with a 3.2-megapixel camera at the rear, capable of video recording at 15 frames per second, as well as smile detection. Multimedia options include Java games, FM radio, and a music player that supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC++, and WMA file formats.
