The Samsung Omnia M S7530 comes equipped with many features that set it apart from your typical mobile phones. Samsung Omnia M S7530 parks applications and features unique only to its kind. The phone runs on Windows Phone 7.5 with 384MB of RAM and features 1GHZ single core processor added to that kind of operating system gives you speed like never before. The 4 inch WVGA display gives you ample space to view all these features in high resolution. The Samsung Omnia M S7530 also comes with 2 powerful cameras. The 5MP camera placed at the back of the phone and the VGA camera at the front. The 25GB online storage space offered for free will also come in handy in many different ways. That and the 4GB of internal memory gives you options like never before. You will definitely have fun with this device.
The Windows based Samsung Omnia M S7530 is both slim and lightweight, making it easy to fit into the palm of your hands. The sleek design has a great build quality.
Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is the basis of the UI on the S7530. Basically you can customize the “tiles” by size and priority. It is simple to use once you understand how it works. The 4 inch Super AMOLED multi-touch display is responsive to your touch.
As a smartphone device, the S7530 allows you to access multiple emails. Of course you have your native Outlook access, but connecting to Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, and other email clients will be no problem. Threaded SMS, MMS, push email, and instant messaging are all supported as well.
A video player will allow you to watch movies, TV episodes, and other entertainment from the device. The quality of the playback is relatively good.
There is an FM radio with RDS for those who want to listen to local talk and music stations. If you prefer your own music, MP3 support is available through the music player.
A 5 MP camera will put out 2592x1944 resolution photos. The image quality is sharp and detailed. There are some nice features like auto focus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, and image stabilization that will enhance your photo experience.
Videos can be shot with WVGA quality at 30 frames per second. The S7530 probably takes better pictures than video overall.
In terms of connectivity, the S5730 can access 2G GSM 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 bands. There is also HSDPA 900 and 2100 3G support. Not only can Wi-fi be accessed through the device, but there is also the ability to hotspot. This means that you can access the internet on your computer via the phone's internet capabilities. MicroUSB and Bluetooth 2.1 are also available.
An organizer, voice memo, and document viewer/editor are all part of the built-in utility tool belt.
As a Windows-based phone, you should not be surprised to find Internet Explorer as your built-in browser. Yahoo Finance, SkyDrive, Marketplace are also available without the need to download onto your device. Social networking is also readily available to Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin.
Bing Map with A-GPS support will be your guide to getting when you need directions.
The S7530 is going to be an investment at a price tag of Rs. 11999 (approx., may vary).
The 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery will give you a great battery life to power your phone. 4 GB of internal memory is going to be enough to handle what you want to store. The S7530 really is a solid phone overall. One single factor makes this device one that you should avoid however. The 7.5 operating system is not upgradable to the new Windows 8 platform. There is no viable reason for Samsung to produce an out-dated OS at the price it does. If you are in the market for a Windows Phone, the best option is to wait.
