Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 T520 is the latest tablet by Samsung Electronics which belongs to the new Pro line of Samsung Galaxy Tab series and was announced in January, 2014 at CES 2014 in Las Vegas. It is expected to be released in two variants which includes T520 with Wi-Fi only and T525 with 2G, 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi in February 2014 at MWC in Barcelona, Spain. It comes in a pack with a charger, a data cable, a headset, an user guide, a warranty card and a powerful non-removable Li-Ion 8220mAh battery. It has a height of 243.1mm, a width of 171.4mm and a thickness of 7.3mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 477gms. It will be available in white shade, while the price remains unknown.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 T520 has got a 10.1-inch, capacitive and multi-touch, WQXGA TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, 16M color depth, 299ppi pixel density and Samsung TouchWiz UI. It has also got a RAM of 2GB along with an internal memory of 16/32GB which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSDXC memory card. It is an Android v4.4.2, KitKat OS based tablet with an octa-core 1.9GHz processor, a Samsung Exynos 5420 chipset, an ARM Mali-T628MP6 GPU, some sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light, compass, proximity and gyroscope and a lot of other features such as stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, a HTML5 browser, Java via MIDP emulator, active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic, an audio and a video player with a lot of supported formats, an organizer, image/video editor, a document viewer, voice memo/dial, turn-by-turn navigation, tethering, computer and OTA sync and voice recording and many more.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 T520 has also got a 8.0MP rear camera with a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels, digital zoom, auto focus, LED flash, ISO control, geo-tagging, touch focus and face and smile detection which can even record videos of 1080p@30fps. It also has a 2.0MP front camera with a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels and digital zoom which can also record videos of 1080p@30fps. For connectivity, it includes Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, a v2.0 micro USB port with USB host, an infrared port, a HDMI port, WLAN feature with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi direct and hotspot and GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS. For messaging, it includes E-mail, Push mail, IM and integrated social networking sites along with predictive text input.
