The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is a fantastic looking handset announced in August, 2015. It has similar design as the Galaxy S6 Edge, comes with several attractive features like 4 GB RAM, 16 MP primary camera, Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and 5.7 inch screen. The company has introduced this device in tow memory variants i.e. 32/64 GB. The smartphone is dipped in 4 different color options and this device is quite sleek which is also the major highlight of this handset. Display and Dimensions

This striking smartphone boasts a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which offers a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and holds a pixel density of 518 ppi. It shows off a color depth of 16 million which provides good viewing angles and the display is quite large where you can enjoy browsing, texting and gaming easily. In order to protect the display from fingerprints and scratches, there is Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection which performs this duty well. It comes with a Fingerprint sensor located at the home button for secure lock and payments using Samsung Pay and Heart-rate Monitor on the back. The device also has KNOX Active Protection and My KNOX app to save sensitive work and personal data. Processor and Operating System

It uses 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core and 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 quad-core processor which is further assembled with Mali-T760M GPU. It has 4 GB RAM which is quite adequate for the purpose of multi-tasking and one can run many applications simultaneously without any tension of hang problem. The operating system used in the smartphone is Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) which is the latest version of OS and is famous in market.

As far as camera department is concerned, Samsung has fixed 16 MP shooter at the rear which releases a resolution of 2988 x 5312 pixels with features like auto-focus, LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, OIS and optical image stabilization, panorama, auto HDR, face detection, touch focus and geo-tagging. It offers dual-video recording with resolutions i.e. 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps and. 720p@120fps. For the purpose of video calls and selfies it is being equipped with 5 MP front snapper producing a resolution of 1440p@30fps. It has Quick launch feature through which you can start camera in less than one second by double clicking the Auto Real-time HDR, home button and new filters. This device is introduced in two memory variants i.e. 32/64 GB without any support of microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ hosts several connectivity features including Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, NFC, USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot and 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+. It is energized by a non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery and fast charging abilities to charge the device in approx. 90 mins by using a wired charger and with wireless charger it will 120 mins to charge.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ comes in color options like Silver Titanium, White Pearl, Gold Platinum and Black Sapphire. The price of 32 GB variant is Rs. 57900 whereas 64 GB version is not available in India.
