The Samsung Electronics produced an Android phablet smartphone named Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Octa Core. It was announced in September, 2014 and was released globally in October, 2014. It is a triumph of novel design, but its high price tag and minimal extra usability make for a niche appeal. It comes with S Pen Stylus which is used for drawing and writing. Lets have a look at its features and specifications:
The Note Edge features a 5.6 inch super AMOLED display with damage resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and offers a pixel density of 524 ppi (pixels per inch). It releases a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels and has 16 million color support. It is a bar shaped smartphone and carries a height of 151.3mm, a width of 82.4mm and thickness of 8.3mm. It weighs at 174 grams. It has sensors like accelerometer sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope sensor and proximity sensor.
It is powered by 2.7 GHz quad- core processor and paired with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset and Adreno 420 GPU. It comes with 3 GB RAM in order to save documents, files, songs and videos. It works on Android v4.4, KitKat operating system.
Its camera is much more advanced. The smartphone has 16MP rear- facing shooter having a (OIS) (Smart Optical Image Stabilizer system) system to manage camera shake. It automatically increases exposure time in dark conditions. The front snapper is a 3.7 MP with an f1.9 aperture that can record 2160p videos at 30 frames per second and capture wide- angle pictures. In terms of memory space, it comes in two versions i.e. 32GB and 64GB which support microSD upto 128GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Octa Core has a Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery which promises a talktime of up to 18 hours on 3G network. Internet and connectivity attributes offered by the device includes 3G, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, USB, EDGE, GPRS and Wi-Fi.
The buyer can purchase this smartphone in two common shades i.e. Black and White and it is being offered at the price of Rs. 25268.
