Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500 features a 3.65 inches touch screen and is a plastic, bar design smart phone. It comes with a 5 mega pixels camera that has LED flash and loud speaker grille. Videos can be recorded of 720p resolution. The phone works fully in support with the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread and the latest TouchWiz 4.0. It boasts of a very easy user interface while supporting Adobe Flash and HTML Browser along with SMS thread view, E-mail, RSS, MMS Push Mail, IM, GPS and stereo FM Radio. It has become popular due to its processor performance and also has threatened competition in the mobile market. It comes in a compact, handy size and thus is very convenient to use and carry around. It has however been criticized for its screen quality although the picture and video quality is much better.
The crafted Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500 is a candy bar Android device with a TFT capacitive touchscreen. It has the shiny plastic on the back of the device that the Galaxy series devices are known for. It is a sturdy looking device with a solid build quality.
There is a TouchWiz user interface that gives the user a simple and intuitive user experience. The Plus S7500 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The device will fit well into your hand and allows for easy navigation.
Threaded view text messages will give you a chat style feel when connecting with your friends and family. There are also no problems sending and receiving picture messages. Settings up your emails are also easy and just require the input of your user name and password once for push access. Since you are able to download other chat applications such as Yahoo Messenger and MSN, you will also have that gateway of communication at your fingertips.
You can upload your photos through the gallery to Facebook and other social media websites. Videos that are in MP4, H.264 and H.263 formats are all playable on the Plus S750.
The in-built FM radio will help you tune into your nearest channel and listen to your favourite stations. If you prefer to listen to your own music, make sure you have it in MP3, WAV, or eAAC format. Audio quality itself is about average. A 3.5mm headphone jack will allow you to put your own headphones into the device.
A 5MP camera will be able to produce up to a 2592x1944 resolution quality. Features such as autofocus, LED flash, check quality, Geo-tagging, and face/smile detection are all built in as well. Photo quality itself turns out solid.
As long as you are in decent light conditions, the video camera will be able to record decent quality.
With quad band 2G support, you can hop on 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 band frequencies. There is also 3G HSDPA 900 and 2100 support. If you want to transfer files, you can access Bluetooth 3.0 or connect directly to a computer via its microUSB 2.0. Wlan is supported by Wi-fi 803.11 b/gn, DLNA, and hotspot.
Access to Google's Play store will allow you to download virtually any application you may be looking for.
A-GPS support via Google Maps will give you an accurate navigation experience.
The Plus S7500 is available for a price of Rs. 15500 (approx., may vary). At this price point, one would expect some pretty advanced features. The 5MP camera, lack of a front-facing camera, low 3 GB internal memory and 1 GHz Qualcomm Scorpion process, don't really justify the price. It is simply old technology and you can invest in a device with better features with your money.
