Samsung C6712 Star II Duos is an affordable dual SIM mobile launched by prominent manufacturer Samsung in May, 2011. It comes in compact design with a lot of useful features. It comes in pack with earphone, charger, user manual, warranty card, battery and USB cable. It is available at a very affordable price tag of Rs. 5974.
Available only in Black color, Star II Duos has a 209.5mm length, 56mm width, 12.20mm thickness as its dimensions along with a weight of 100 grams. This beautifully designed device has two soft keys and one hard button on its front, while it packs a 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, 400x240 pixels resolution, 256k color depth and a 146ppi pixel density.
To shoot and share the pictures, it has a 3.15MP rear camera with video calling feature and it is capable of recoding QVGA video at 15fps, but it lacks front camera. For the storage purpose, it comes loaded with very small 30MB internal memory. You can also expand the phone memory up to 16GB via microSD card.
In the terms of connectivity, it supports GPRS, EDGE and WiFi for internet use. It also offer wireless connectivity through Bluetooth and microUSB to connect with other devices. It works on 2G (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 -SIM 1& 2) network frequency. It has been fueled with Li-ion 1200mAh battery which returns a stand-by time of up to 550 hours and talktime of up to 10 hours.
Samsung Star Duos also come loaded with pre-installed apps like the most popular Facebook and Twitter. The phone supports MP3, WAV ringtones and vibration alert as its alert types and can save 30 dialled, missed and received calls in its call logs. You can also send SMS, MMS, Email, IM through this phone. Other features of the phone includes FM Radio, downloadable games, predictive text input, voice memo, organizer and document viewer.
