Reliance Mobiles are manufactured by Reliance communication Ltd., whose headquarter is in Navi Mumbai. Reliance Communications Ltd. is a subsidiary of Reliance Group and is the 2nd largest telecommunication company after Bharti Airtel. The company has five segments, wireless, broadband, global, investment and direct-to-segment. Mr. Anil Dhirubhai Ambani is the Chairman of Reliance Communications. Reliance Mobiles was launched on 28 December 2002, coinciding with the occasion of the late Dhirubhai Ambani’s 70th birthday. Reliance Mobiles cover over 24,000 towns, 6 lakh villages, and still counting. Reliance Mobiles offer advanced multimedia handsets to the common man at very affordable rates. This price cut has increased the number of mobile phone users throughout the country over the past four years.
