Oppo is a global technology brand known for its high end smartphones. Oppo has unveiled a new smartphone 'Oppo 3000' in the month of February, 2015. Its headquarter is located in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. The box packs a handset, charger, headset, battery, USB cable, warranty card, user manual. Let's talk about its technical specification:-

Design and Display

The Oppo 3000 sporting a 4.7-inch display screen which gives a better screen resolution at 1280x720 pixels. It features a slim design, round corners with 3 keys at the bottom and includes a front camera at the top. The overall look of phone is impressive with a TFT display type. The display screen features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which helps to protect display screen. At 312 ppi it supports 16 Million for better visualization of images, text etc. The smartphone has a dimensions of 137.6 mm x 68.8 mm x 8.9 mm and 126 gms in weight.

Camera

The smartphone comes with a excellent 8 MP rear shooter that captures fine images at a 3264x2448 pixels of resolution. Rear shooter comes with most advance features like Sony IMX179 rear camera sensor, which boasts f/2.0 aperture has a five element lens. While the front-facing camera has a 5 MP count which allows user to make a video call.

Hardware and Software

The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A53 processor which uses chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit MSM8916 chipset. This chipset employs the powerful Adreno 306 GPU and 1 GB RAM. The smartphone operates on ColorOS version 2.0.1 Android KitKat operating system for seamless Google integration, voice actions, face unlock, voice typing etc. It has 8 GB of internal memory which which can be further expanded up to 64 GB with the help of microSD card.

Battery and Connectivity

The smartphone packs in a Li-Po 2000 mAh battery which is able to deliver a good talktime and standby time on 2G and 3G. On the connectivity front, the phone has GPRS, EDGE, Wi-fi, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0, micro USB and GPS with A-GPS for navigation. The smartphone works on 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), 3G (HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100 MHz) and 4G frequencies for better browsing experience. You can download any file, game, music videos, movies etc. at a very high speed of 3G and4G that is HSDPA Up to 42 mbps downlink; Up to 5.76 mbps uplink, LTE Up to 150 mbs downlink; Up to 50 mbs uplink.

Shades and Price

The Oppo 3000 comes in two color options:- Grey and White at a price tag of Rs. 16,000 approx. in China. It is not yet launched in India.
