Oplus XonPad 7 is a voice calling tablet announced in July, 2014. The company has introduced this device in partnership with Snapdeal. The 7-inch device comes with calling support and with good build quality. The box contents includes a tablet, charger, USB cable, earphones, battery, pouch, user manual and warranty card. Here is a quick review of the tablet:
Display and Dimensions
The device comes with a 7-inch large IPS LCD display that carries a resolution of 1280x800 pixels along with 165 ppi pixels density and 16 million colors support. The company has introduced this tablet with a ambient light sensor, distance and GPS sensor. It has got a height of 189mm, a width of 115mm and thickness of 9.7mm. The weight of the tablet is 310 grams.
Camera and Storage
For shutterbugs, it packs a 5MP auto-focus camera with digital zoom that flaunts a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. At the front panel, 2MP camera is fixed for selfies and video calls. It packs a picture resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. The internal memory is 16GB which can be further expanded upto 32GB with the help of memory card slot.
Processor and Operating System
Operating on Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, it is powered by a 1.2 GHZ/28NM Quad core Cortex A7 processor with MediaTek MT8389 chipset. It also comes loaded with 1 X (IMG SGX544, 286Mhz 55MT/s, 572MP/s) graphic processor.
Connectivity and Battery
In the terms of connectivity, it has good collection of attributes like bluetooth V2.1+EDR/BT3.0+HS, GPS, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and handsfree connectivity. It works on both 2G and 3G network. It is energized by a 3500 mAH battery for a decent talk-time and stand-by time.
