Olive Telecom was formed in the year 2000 and is headquartered in Gurgaon, India. It deals with the manufacturing of mobiles, laptops, tablets, notebooks, mobile computing, wireless broadband and convergence devices. Its Olive Pad VT300 is the new creation in the tablets segment. Its pack contents includes a tablet, battery, charger, earphone, USB cable, OTG cable, user manual and warranty card.

Design and Display

VT300 comes wrapped in a casual tablet format with the dimension figures of 196 mm in height, 120 mm in width and 11 mm of thickness. Its front features a nice 7 inches multi-touch, capacitive touchscreen that provides a resolution of 1024x600 pixels.

Hardware and Software

Olive Pad VT300 is powered with 1 GHz Dual Core processor and comes with 512 MB RAM to speed up things. It works on the Android v4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich Operating System and has the support of 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD.

Telephony and Messaging

The tablet supports a SIM and operates on 2G GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz and 3G UMTS 2100 MHz network frequencies. For messaging, it facilitates SMS, MMS, Email and IM. Thus, you can call, text and use the high speed internet with the same device.

Camera

It comes bundled with the dual cameras. There is a 2 MP rear snapper which takes decent still images and provide a picture resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. Also, there is a 0.3 MP front shooter which facilitates selfies and video calling.

Entertainment

For the listening pleasure, you can play your favorite track on the music player or can choose the FM radio. Also you can enjoy playing and recording videos. Other than this, you can play games in your leisure time or enjoy its pre-loaded applications.

Connectivity and Battery

The device is 3G enabled and allows you to connect with the internet using Wi-Fi connectivity. You can transfer data wirelessly among devices using its Bluetooth support. You can also use the OTG cable or microUSB support for PC synchronization and other purposes. The presence of Adobe Flash 10.3 Player further helps in executing rich internet applications, viewing multimedia etc. To keep the tasks going, the device is packed with a Li-ion battery of 3000 mAh.
