Olive Telecom was formed in the year 2000 and is headquartered in Gurgaon, India. It deals with the manufacturing of mobiles, laptops, tablets, netbooks, mobile computing, wireless broadband and convergence devices. Olive L-10 is its basic featured mobile that was announced in the year 2009 and is still available in the market.
Olive L-10 has a compact and lightweight body designed in a bar format. Its front comprises of a small screen, a five way navigation key and an alphanumeric keypad in 4x3 configuration. Its dimension figures include the height of 107.6 mm, width of 44 mm and thickness of 13 mm along with a weight of 68 grams. It has a 2 inches TFT screen with a resolution of 176x220 pixels.
It is a dual SIM handset with the dual stand-by support that means you can stay active on two connections at the same time. It works on Dual band GSM / CDMA 800 / 1900 MHz frequencies. It has a limited internal storage which is capable of storing 500 entries in phonebook memory. But this can be expanded up to 4 GB by using a microSD card. SMS and MMS facilities have been availed for the messaging.
This little handset comes assembled with a VGA rear camera along with the Zoom ability. Videos can also be recorded with the camera.
Olive L-10 comes installed with a music player that lets you listen to your favorite music track anytime. Or one can also switch to FM radio for listening pleasure. The embedded games keep the gamers engaged in their leisure hours. The phone also supports polyphonic and mp3 ringtones.
To enable connectivity, it supports GPRS, Bluetooth with A2DP, Infrared and USB. It packs a standard battery that ensures max talktime of up to 4 hours.
The phone is available at a price of Rs 2,399 approximately.
