The company has released the Nokia X2, an android dual SIM smartphone on June 24, 2014. The handset comes in a pack with a charger, battery, USB cable, earphone, user manual and warranty card. Design and Display

Nokia X2 features a dual layered design that imparts stylish looks to the phone. This bar shaped device comes with a height of 121.7mm, width of 68.3mm and a thickness of 11.1 mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 150 grams. The overall look of phone is impressive with a WVGA capacitive touchscreen of 4.3-inches which provides a resolution of 800x480 pixels and a 217ppi pixel density. It has the ability to display 16 million colors and is featured with a brightness control, scratch resistant glass, tactile feedback, Nokia glance screen and other sensors like orientation, accelerometer, ambient light and proximity sensors.

Hardware and Software

Nokia X2 is powered by a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor with Qualcomm MSM8210 Snapdragon 200 chip-set and Adreno 302 GPU. It is based on the new Nokia X software platform. It has a RAM of 1 GB and a free cloud storage up to 7 GB. The phone has a mass storage of 4 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card. It has enough power to handle apps which are thrown on its way.

Telephony and Messaging

Nokia X2 supports Dual SIM which operates on 2G (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and 3G (HSDPA 900/2100 MHz) network frequencies. The phonebook has the capacity to store an unlimited number of contacts. For messaging, it has SMS, MMS, email, push mail and IM facilities. It also features predictive text input which helps in typing.

Camera

The smartphone has a primary camera of 5 MP which provides a resolution of 2560x1920 pixels and is featured with an LED flash, auto-focus, Geo-tagging, 4x digital zoom, touch-focus and landscape orientation. The camera delivers good shots in night and low light conditions with its different mode options. The VGA secondary camera is also there which enables the users to video calling.

The Nokia X2 is fueled by a BV-5S 1800 mAh battery which delivers a talk-time up to 10 hours and 13 hours on 2G and 3G network respectively. It offers a stand-by time up to 23 days along with a music playback time up to 86 hours.
