Nokia Lumia 930 is the latest Nano SIM windows smartphone by Finnish maker Nokia which was announced at Microsoft Build Conference in April, 2014 with Microsoft latest mobile operating system Windows Phone 8.1 and was earlier appeared by the codename Martini. It was launched in July, 2014. It is lashed with all the modern technology and advanced features to make it a top notch contender. It comes in a pack with handset, charger, data cable, headset and user guide.

Display and Design

Nokia Lumia 930 has a 5- inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen at front which provides a display resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, 16M color depth and 441ppi pixel density. It is also coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to avoid any type of scratch. It has a height of 137mm, width of 71mm, thickness of 9.8mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 167 grams. It is also built with few sensors like accelerometer, proximity, compass, gyroscope and ambient light to automate your daily tasks.

Processor and OS

Under the hood, resides a 2.2 GHz Quad- core Krait 400 processor, Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset, Adreno 330 GPU which is paired to 2GB RAM to handle multiple operations with ease. The operating system version offered in this phone is a Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 which is upgradable to Window 10.

Camera and Memory

Nokia Lumia 930 is equipped with 20MP rear camera which provides a picture resolution of 4992x3744 pixels. Other features list includes Carl Zeiss optics, digital zoom, auto- focus, dual LED flash optical image stabilization. It is also capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps. On the other hand, it has 1.2MP camera at front which supports 720p video recording which can be used for selfies and video calling. For the storage, there is 32GB internal memory in the phone, but it lacks microSD support.

Connectivity and Battery

It works on 2G, 3G and 4G LTE network frequencies. For connectivity, it includes GPRS and EDGE, WLAN feature with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual band, DLNA and hotspot, a Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, NFC, a v2.0 micro USB port, GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS. It is loaded with 2420mAh battery under the hood that provides a standby time of up to 432 hours, 2G talktime upto 11 hour 30 min and music playback time of up to 75 hours. On 3G network, it delivers up to 15 hour 30 minutes talktime.

It  include lot of other features such as active noise cancellation, browser, a loudspeaker, a 3.5mm audio jack, Dolby headphone sound enhancement, an organizer, a photo viewer. For messaging, it get SMS, MMS, E-mail, Push mail, IM and integrated social networking sites along with predictive text input.
