Nokia Lumia 929 is the newest Micro-SIM smartphone by Nokia and exclusively bound for Verizon Wireless which will be available by January 2014 to the Verizon customers. Recently, a lot of images and specifications of this brand-new stylish Lumia 929 were released by many online websites. The renowned website for windows phones, WP Central has highlighted some major features of this younger sibling of recently launched phablet, Lumia 1520. Nokia Lumia 929 has a glass-covered front panel, aluminum crafting around the edges of this handset and a polycarbonate rear. The Smartphone has a height of 136.5mm, a width of 71.4mm and a thickness of 10.5mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 166gms and runs on 2G(GSM), 3G(UMTS) and 4G(LTE) networks. It is expected to be available in two shades which includes Glossy White and Matte Black, but more shades can be revealed on its announcement. It is expected to be available at a price of $500-550 on off-contract and $99.9 for 2-year contract.

Nokia Lumia 929 has a 5.0-inch, capacitive and multi-touch, AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, 16 million colors display, 441ppi pixel density, ClearBlack display and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. It will have a 2GB RAM and an internal memory of 32GB and no memory card slot. It will be having a Microsoft Windows Phone 8 Black OS along with a Quad-core 2.2GHz Krait 400 Processor, a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 Chipset, Adreno 330 GPU and a lot of sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, gravity, ambient light, orientation and many more. For messaging, it will have SMS, MMS, E-Mail, Push E-Mail, IM and SNS integration and other features includes a HTML5 browser, FM radio, a loudspeaker, a 3.5mm jack, dolby headphone sound enhancement, GPS with A-GPS support, 7GB free SkyDrive storage, organizer, document viewer/editor, photo viewer/editor, video viewer/editor, voice memo/dials/commands, predictive text input and many more.

Nokia Lumia 929 will have a 20MP PureView rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics, digital zoom, auto-focus, optical image stabilization, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection and panorama mode which can record as well as play videos of 1080p@30fps with video stabilization, video light and stereo sound recording. It makes use of Nokia's supersampling technology to capture full resolution photos of 16MP plus PureView pictures of 5MP. There is no information yet revealed about its secondary camera but it is expected to be a 1.3MP or 2.1MP one. For data, It will have GPRS, EDGE, WLAN feature with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi Hotspot, a v4.0 Bluetooth with A2DP, NFC and a v2.0 microUSB port. There is no information revealed yet about its non-removable battery.
