Nokia has launched a new dual SIM smartphone called the 'Lumia 730' in the month of September, 2014. The box contents include a handset, headset, charger, battery, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. The specifications of phone are discussed in detail below.
The Lumia 730 is a good looking phone as far as looks are concerned. But its plastic body leaves it behind in the race of smartphones. The dimension figures include a height of 134.7 mm, width of 68.5 mm and a thickness of 8.7 mm. The device weighs around 130.4 grams. The overall look of phone is enhanced by the clear-black OLED display of 4.7-inches which gives a HD resolution of 1280x720 pixels and a pixel density of 316 ppi. The screen is also protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass. The ambient light and proximity sensors are there to adjust the brightness according to the surroundings.
Housing the Lumia 730 is a Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip-set and Adreno 305 graphical processor. It comes equipped with a Windows based Microsoft Phone 8.1 operating system. The device has a RAM of 1 GB and an internal storage of 8 GB which can be expanded further up to 128 GB.
The Nokia Lumia 730 runs on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz network frequencies. The user can store a huge number of contacts in the phonebook memory of this smartphone. The messaging and e-mailing facilities available for the phone include the SMS, MMS, IM, Email and push mail where predictive text input is there to facilitate all of these services.
The device comes with a 6.7 MP rear shooter which captures 2988x2241 pixels resolution pictures. It also features LED Flash, photo editor to tweak and add filters, auto-focus and Carl Zeiss optics. While the front-facing camera has a 5 MP count which allows the users to make a video call. One can also record 1080p videos on to this smartphone.
On the connectivity front, the Lumia 730 supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, micro USB v2.0, NFC and GPS with A-GPS for navigation. The Lumia 730 is powered by a Lithium-ion 2000 mAh battery which provides you a talktime of up to 22 hours and up to 17 hours on 2G and 3G networks respectively.
The Nokia Lumia 730 is available in Orange, Green, White and Black shades along with a price tag of Rs.15,000 approx, may vary.
