After the success of Moto G (2nd Gen), Motorola announced its Moto G (3rd Gen) on July, 25. The surprising thing is that it has a IPX7 certification which means the handset is water and dust resistant. It is one of the cheapest water-resistant handsets. It is immersible in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes. It offers dual-SIM slots and is built to compete with the likes of Xiaomi Mi 4, XOLO Black, Lenovo K3 Note and Asus Zenfone 2. It comes in 8 GB and 16 GB versions. It is a mid-range smartphone which is being packed with powerful specifications at a an affordable price. Take a closer look to know about the features and specifications of this smartphone.
In terms of design, it is slightly similar to the 2nd generation Moto G complete with its dual-front grilles the one at the top is the earpiece while the other one is the speaker outlet. The 2 grilles does not have the support of chrome inserts and are more subtle, like Moto G (2nd Gen). The removable back cover of the handset has a ribbed texture that refines the grip and aids ergonomics. The volume and power keys are located at the right side, while the 3.5 mm headset jack and micro-USB port are located at the bottom and top edge, respectively. It features a 5 inch HD multi-touch display that supports a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. Viewing angles are quite wide and color reproduction is accurate. It is a bar shaped device which carries a height of 142.1 mm, a width of 72.4 mm and a thickness of 6.1-11.6 mm and weighs at 155 grams. It packs proximity sensor, gyro sensor, compass sensor and accelerometer sensor.

Furthermore, it houses a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor which is being assembled with Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset and 400 MHz Adreno 306 graphic processor. The processor is paired with 1 GB RAM which helps you to complete your multi-tasking needs.
This smartphone supports an improved 13 MP primary camera with auto-focus, f/2.0 aperture, digital zoom and dual-tone LED flash which is pretty impressive to capture beautiful pictures and videos. The rear camera has a picture resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. At the front side, there is 5MP shooter which is fixed to click selfies and to make video calls. It offers a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. It comes packed with 8GB internal storage which the user can expand up to 32GB through microSD card.
