Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) is a latest smartphone of the most popular Moto series of Motorola. It was launched in July, 2015. It is a dual SIM device that supports IPx7 rating for water resistance. It can survive in 3 feet water till 30 minutes which is itself a unique feature Moto 3rd Gen brings. The smartphone is bundled with impressive set of specifications that make every buyer fall for it. It has big screen, latest OS, powerful processor, battery and wonderful camera. Overall, its a good combination of style and features. Let's have a brief look on its specifications below:

Display and Design

The attractive device come equipped with a 5-inch HD screen at front which has a display resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It comes coated with Corning Gorilla Glass to protect it from scratches or damage. It provides clear and rich visual of videos, pictures and games. Dimension wise, it has 142.1 mm height, 72.4 mm width and a its depth varies from 6.1-11.6 mm (because of curve). The weight of the phone is measured as 155 grams. It requires careful handling and it might cause difficulty in holding for long hours because of its heavy weight and bulky design.

Processor and OS

Under the hood, it boasts a 1.4GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. The smartphone is available in two RAM versions – 1 GB and 2 GB RAM. The operating system used in this phone is a latest version of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It provides new interface and improved design to its users.

Camera and Memory

It let you click quality picture through 13 MP camera present on the back frame. It offers LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and IR filter features to double the fun of photography. The main camera is also capable of recording full HD videos. On the front frame, it includes 5 MP camera with 72-degree wide angle lens. For the storage, there are again two variants in this smartphone 8 GB and 16 GB. Both the variants have a support of 32 GB expandable storage through microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the phone includes 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It makes downloading and browsing more faster. For the backup, it has 1470 mAh battery under the hood. Multimedia wise, it support 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.

The Moto G (3rd Gen) comes in two color options - White and Black. It is available to purchase at INR 11,999 for 1 GB/8 GB variant and INR 12,999 for 2 GB/16 GB variant.
