Overview
Motorola CHARM with identical specifications
The Motorola Charm comes with almost identical specifications of the Motorola FLIPOUT, but with more usual form factor. Although the square shape of CHARM looks like FLIPOUT, it is basically a BlackBerry-style handset. The CHARM comes with Android 2.1 operating system, a fairly small 2.8 inches QVGA touch screen display, and a decently laid out QWERTY keypad. The Motorola CHARM is integrated with 3 megapixel camera with fixed focus and Kodak software enhancements. On the back side there is a small pad which works like a standard navigation pad to scroll through menus and select option. It supports 1700/2100 MHz network and 3.5G connectivity.
The Motorola Charm also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, integrated GPS receiver, and quad-band GSM. Although it runs with Android 2.1, it supports almost standard Android applications. Its operating system is integrated with all usual Google features with turn-by-turn navigation routing with Google Maps. Almost all Android sets of the Market come with the same style and design, but the Motorola CHARM is a BlackBerry style Android Smartphone, which makes it unique choice for some Smartphone users.
