Microsoft Lumia 430 is a budget friendly windows based smartphone announced in March, 2015. It is a good addition to Microsoft's affordable range of smartphones. It owns a 4-inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen (480x800 pixels) translating to a pixel density of 235ppi. It has a color depth of 16 million. It is designed by using a bar format with measurements of 120.5x63.2x10.6 mm and carries a weight of 127.9 grams. Microsoft has added accelerometer and proximity sensors in the device.
Powering the device is a Dual-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and backed by Qualcomm MSM8210 Snapdragon 200 chipset and Adreno 302 GPU. It is coupled with 1 GB RAM for the purpose of multi-tasking. It runs Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating which is upgradable to Windows 10.
It comes equipped with a 2 MP rear camera which is able to record 480p videos at 30fps. It also features a front camera of 0.3 MP which is not satisfactory for selfies and video calls. There is an 8 GB internal memory along with microSD expansion for up to 128 GB plus 30 GB of free OneDrive cloud capacity too.
