The Kin ONEm is similar to the first version. The same shape, albeit slightly re-designed, having the same basic features. The phone does not have GPRS or EDGE support, because it is devoted entirely to Wi-Fi and 3G. There is also a USB port as well as Bluetooth facilities. The camera is around 5MP and has dual LED flash. It’s surprising as to why would Microsoft release two versions of the same kind of phone. Like its earlier version, this phone too couldn’t last longer on the shelf.
Many users found the Microsoft Kin ONEm to be lacking in quality performance, with the system continuously hanging over a specific usage time. Microsoft sure did prove that they are best only in computers, in the mobile industry; they still have to come up with very strong sets that can meet the likes of Apple’s iPhone and many others. Lastly, Microsoft does not allow any third party applications on its phone, so you may be stuck with the same set of applications.
