It’s not surprising to see Microsoft testing its skills in the world of mobile phones. Though good in intentions, the phones didn’t exactly click with the mass public and more than half the world does not even have an idea of the existence of this phone. Boasting a capacitive touch screen of 16M colors, the phone is a slider with a QWERTY keyboard and an accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate. Microsoft Kin has an internal storage capacity of 4GB and 256MB RAM. The phone has all the facilities of Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE and 3G! Users would also be surprised with the 5MP camera with dual LED flash availability on the phone.
Though all the physical attributes of the phone is pretty good, its internal OS has not been a suitable match with people. There seem to be glitches and issues within the phone that does not promote easy usability. The phone went through a very low sales phase and therefore had to be recalled back.
