Micromax always came up with the budget phones. The company has announced the release of Micromax X251 in April, 2014. Micromax claims that the phone comes with a format having a height of 120mm, width of 51mm and a thickness of 14.75mm as its dimensions. It supports dual SIM (GSM + GSM) functionality. The box contents includes Handset, Charger, Battery, USB Cable, Earphone, User Manual and Warranty Card.

Micromax X251 has a screen size of 2.4-inch which provides a resolution of 320x240 pixels. The phone has a primary camera of 0.8-megapixel which is featured with digital zoom. The digital camera provides a photo resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. The device supports 2G (GSM 800/ 1800MHz) network. The phone has a microSD card slot having a space for 8GB memory. Micromax X251 operates on Proprietary operating system. The phone has a 35KB of internal storage with a capacity to store a long list of 500 contacts and 100 SMS.

Micromax X251 is equipped with a Li-Ion 1900mAh battery which provides a talk-time of 7.5 hours and a standby time of 360 hours on 2G network. Among the connectivity attributes, the phone has USB, EDGE, Bluetooth and hands-free connectivity. The phone has a FM radio, music and video player for the listening pleasure and entertainment. There are number of Polyphonic ring-tones available to set for the calls. Other features of the phone includes Organizer, Calender, Clock and Alarm clock. It comes loaded with some games to play with. There is no color scheme available for the phone except Black. Micromax X251 is going to be another budget phone from Micromax.
