Micromax Q1 retails at an average price of Rs. 1528 (approx., may vary). Micromax Q1 is an entry-level Smartphone that operates on 2G internet speeds. This obviously means that download speeds for apps is bound to be slow. The phone also lacks a video camera that is quite surprising considering that it is a Smartphone. Many people nowadays consider a video camera as an almost standard feature in smart phones so the fact that it has none might make it unattractive to the average person. It also lacks support for Java, which is a major omission for a Smartphone. This means that Micromax Q1 might be better suited for people who want a Smartphone but can afford to do away with many Smartphone features such as Java, video camera and Bluetooth connectivity. Given its very low price of Rs. 1528, however, one cannot expect too much from the phone.
