The Micromax Canvas Knight Cameo A290 is a budget Octa-core powered smartphone announced in August, 2014. It is a fabulous smartphone which comes with an affordable price tag despite having an Octa-core processor. It operates on the latest Android platform as well. It comes in a pack that includes a charger, handset, headset, USB cable, battery, user manual and warranty card.
Display
It shows off a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display which offers a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and gives clear visuals from a wider range of angels. It features compass, proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.
Processor and Operating System
At the heart of the device, the user can get a 1.4 GHz, Octa core processor assisted by 1GB RAM and MT6592M chipset. It operates on Android v4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
Camera and Storage
In order to click clear pictures, the handset scores well with an outstanding 8MP autofocus shooter along with LED flash at its rear panel. To capture selfies and to do video calls, it boasts a 5MP front facing snapper. The user can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. The primary camera offers a picture resolution of 3264x2448 pixels while the secondary provides 2592X1944 pixels.
