Micromax Canvas Xpress A99 is a new member of Canvas family. It was announced in December, 2014. It comes with some very exciting features like HotKnot and Smart Wake. It connects two devices with a simple tap and makes your sharing tasks easy & fast. It also comes pre-loaded with some apps like Opera Mini, Games Club, Clean Master, MAD, Mi Live and Smartpad. The box contents of phone includes handset, USb cable, charger, battery, warranty card, user guide and handsfree.

Display and Design

Xpress A99 packs a 4.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen which provides a 854x480 pixels resolution and 16.7 Million color depth. As far as looks are concerned, this phone has sleek body which offers you firm grip while holding in hand. It comes with rectangular design and this time company gives the curves a miss.

Processor and OS

It is featured by 1.3GHz quad-core processor, MTK6582V/X chipset coupled with 1GB RAM which allows the device to solve all the possible tasks within seconds. While, it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

Camera and Memory

For the photography this phone comes equipped with a 5MP camera on the back with LED flash and auto-focus feature to let you click pictures in dim light condition. On the other hand, it brings 0.3MP camera at front for the acceptable quality selfies. The main camera is capable of recording HD videos. For storage, it has an internal memory of up to 8GB along with an expandable memory of up to 32GB which one can expand in need up to 32GB.

Connectivity and Battery

It offers Wi-Fi, bluetooth, GPS, 2G network frequency as its connectivity features. It also has USB cable for the PC connectivity and 3.5mm jack. For the back-up, thius phone depends upon 1950mAh battery which delivers talktime of up to 7 hours and standby time of up to 240 hours.
