Dual SIM Tab With Outdated Operating System
By AmritMicromax, in the midst of CES 2015 expo, released its 2nd device of the year, the Canvas Breeze Tab P660 in January, 2015. It is a voice calling tablet which is available exclusively through e-commerce retailer 'Snapdeal' for a discounted price of INR 9,786. It is a dual SIM tab which comes packed with outdated OS. The box contents contains a headset, charger, user manual and warranty card. Its features and specifications are discussed below:
Display
The dual SIM supporting voice tab poses a 7.85- inch IPS display with a 1024x768 pixels resolution which results in a pixel density of 163ppi. It is a multi- touch device which features compass sensor and proximity sensor.
Processor and Operating System
At its heart, it is supplemented by a 1.2 GHz Quad- core MediaTek MT8389WM processor paired with 1GB RAM which results in smooth multitasking. It runs on outdated version of Android i.e. Android v4.2.2 Jellybean.
Camera and Storage
The smart tab features a 5MP rear camera which carries a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. Selfie lovers can fulfill their need via 2MP front camera and upload them over social sites. You can also do video calls through this front-facing camera. It has internal memory of 8 GB which can be further expanded upto 32 GB through microSD card. Therefore, storing songs, images, videos etc won't be a problem.
Connectivity and Battery
In terms of connectivity, it supports 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi. The dual SIM tab is powered by 4,000 mAh battery which the Micromax claims, can deliver 12 hours of talktime and upto 310 hours of standby time.
